Best Gleyber Torres Rookie Card Options
Let’s start with the more mainstream options and move on to more expensive and premium cards.
2018 Bowman Chrome Gleyber Torres RC #83
The world of baseball rookie cards has long been dominated by Bowman Chrome cards, which is often one of the first options that collectors consider when buying a Gleyber Torres rookie card.
This is a pretty good starting option if you’re on a budget. If that’s the case, then you’ll love the availability and relatively low prices of the base card from this manufacturer.
It features an action shot of Torres with the ball in his hands and some neat graphics at the bottom of the card.
There’s an added element of excitement to this card with the many additional parallels, too.
Refractors (499 copies) are the most widely available parallel, followed by purple and blue refractors. You’ll also be able to choose from green, gold, orange, and red refractors. Superfractors (1/1) is the rarest parallel for Bowman Chrome, thus by far the most expensive, too.
2018 Donruss Rated Rookie Gleyber Torres RC #282
Donruss is an excellent alternative to Bowman Chrome if you’re looking for something different.
This one is particularly a decent option if you want a card that won’t blow your entire budget, but still have good potential for ROI.
The good thing about Donruss cards is that they have a good history and a decent level of tradition, so you can’t go wrong with buying one of these.
It also features a nice image of Torres on the card, which is a bonus that might attract you to this card.
2018 Donruss Optic Gleyber Torres RC #65
Now, it might seem as though Donruss and Donruss Optic are similar, but they are two different card options.
Donruss Optic is usually quite a popular option because of the endless stream of parallels you can buy, unlike with the base Donruss version seen above, when you don’t have other options than the base card.
Some of the parallels for this card can get quite expensive, though. They will cost you a fortune if you go for the rarer ones, so keep that in mind when you’re deciding which card to get.
As for the base card, it’s actually quite inexpensive and might even be more easily obtainable than the base Donruss Rated Rookie card.
2018 Panini Prizm Gleyber Torres RC #18
Moving on to Panini Prizm, which is yet another mainstream option for you to pick from.
Again, if you’re looking at this card, you’re getting all the reputation of the Panini Prizm brand which bodes well for the future if you’re looking to keep this card.
In addition, you’ll have a plethora of parallel options to choose from if you’re extra picky, so that’s always nice to see with a card like this.
2018 Panini Chronicles Classics Gleyber Torres RC #22
Next up, we have the Classics card. The design of this card is a bit of a throwback to the old days of cards with its minimal design.
The central feature of this card is, of course, the full-sized image of Gleyber Torres.
Now, the image above you see is the Emerald parallel, which is only known for its five copies. It will thus be way more expensive than the base card, although you can get it for a decent price with a bit of luck, too.
There are several other parallels for you to consider, as well. This is another advantage of buying this card – the number of options you will have with it.
2018 Bowman’s Best Gleyber Torres RC #50
Bowman’s Best is another traditional baseball rookie card brand that might interest you. It’s on the cheaper end, making it an excellent option for budget card collectors.
2018 Topps Chrome Gleyber Torres RC #31
Topps Chrome remains one of the top choices if you’re looking for a no-nonsense option when it comes to Gleyber Torres rookie cards.
As is usually the case with Topps Chrome, you’ll have a whole bunch of interesting refractors to pick from, but the base card is also a decent option, especially if you’re looking for a reasonably priced option.
2018 Panini Contenders Gleyber Torres RC #10
If you like the design of Panini Contenders, then you should go for it. It’s one of the best options you can make, that’s for certain.
One thing to note with this card is the extraordinary amount of options when it comes to parallels, which might be a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re a beginner.
But the thing is, if you select this card and you’re willing to invest in it, then you can’t go wrong with it, too.
2018 Prestige Gleyber Torres RC #19
Prestige is another great option if you’re looking for a good, reliable, and mainstream option. With this card, you’ll also have some great parallels to choose from.
2018 Panini National Treasures Gleyber Torres Auto Patch RC #58
Last but not least, let’s turn to perhaps the most expensive and valuable rookie card option out there for Gleyber Torres – National Treasures.
This is by far the most premium option you have at the moment. It has an autograph and a jersey patch, and it is limited to only 49 copies, which of course, increases the prices for the card.
But if you want something even more exclusive, there are always additional parallels that you can consider, which will, of course, be more expensive than the base card because they’re rarer.
